South Indian heroes are coming up with their hidden talents, approach towards selecting scripts has been changed, also heroes are proving that they are not less than any singer. To entertain the audience, some heroes are working out on their abs, few heroes are improving their dancing skills, few heroes are working on stunts and top heroes in tollywood and kollywood are going viral with their unique voice, giving the voice over in movies and even singing. Apart from acting, they are show casing their talent in singing, Below are the movies where the South Indian heroes who has hidden singing talent:


1. Dhanush

Dhanush has written and sang "Why this Kolaveri di" song in 3 movie and music composed by Anirudh, it rocked the entire India and world in 2011-2012. Song has reached 111 Million plus viewers in YouTube. Dhanush also received Filmfare Award for the category Best Male Play Back Singer. Song has been viral in social networks because of Tanglish(Tamil+English). 

2. Pawan Kalyan

Katama Rayuda is a song by power star Pawan Kalyan from the Atharintiki Daredi movie and the music composed by Devi Sri Prasad; The song was penned by Samudrala Raghava Charya. Orginally, Katama Rayuda is old folk song which was released in the year 1940 and the song was recomposed again with few changes. After the release of this song half a million people saw this YouTube within 48 hours. 

3. Chiranjeevi 

Chai Chatukuna is song by Chiranjeevi from the Mrugaraju movie and the music was composed by Mani Shrama and song was penned by Chandra Bose. The movie was released in the year 2001 and directed by Gunasekhar. The song is about the Chai which means Tea and the Chiranjeevi explains about the benefits of the Chai. 

Arey thammudu is another song by Chiranjeevi from Master movie and the music was composed by Deva. The movie was released in the year in the 1997. This song was sensational hit at that time.

4. Mahesh Babu

This is a debut song for Mahesh Babu and it is from the super hit movie Businessman and music composed by SS Thaman and song was penned by Bhasker Bhatla. The movie was released in the year 2012. This song gives strong message "Don't forget their is no one better than you, you should not listen to anybody and do want ever you want do it. If you target is 10 miles then aim for the 11the mile"

5. Nandamuri Tharaka Rama Rao (NTR)

Nandamuri Tharaka Rama Rao (NTR) has sang for songs such as 123 nenoka Kanthri, I wanna follow follow you, Rakasi and Oh lammi tikkaraginda etc,. Out of all songs the Rakasi was every popular and catchy song. NTR has made his debut with movie Kanthri. 

6. Nagarjuna

This is debut song for the Nagarjuna released as promotional song for Nirmala Convent starring Roshan Mekka, Nagarjuna Akkineni. Roshan is son of the couple Actor Hero Srikanth and actress Ooha. The music was song composed by Roshan Saluri and lyrics penned by Ananth Sriram

7. Ravi Teja

Kaajal Chelliva is a song by mass maharaj Ravi Teja and music composed by SS Thaman for the movie Balupu which was released in the year 2013. The lyrics was penned by the Bhasker Bhatla. This is a debut song for Ravi Teja.

8. Simbu

Simbu is natural singer and he is also actor, director, producer etc,.His original name is Silambarasan and he is singer for more than 50 songs in total in Tamil and Telugu. Apart from the Diamond girl, Simbu also sang Bujji Pella in Potugadu Movie.

9. Manchu Manoj

Rocking Star Machu Manoj has sung this song for the Potugadu Movie which released in the year 2013 directed by Pavan Wadeyar and music composed by Achu Rajamani. The lyrics is penned by Basha Sri. The movie is a remake of Kanada Movie called Govindaya Namaha and song is also remake from kanada song.


10. Lachamma by Nithin

Lachamma is sang by Nithin and Krishna Chaitanya from the Ishq telugu movie which was released in the 2012 directed by Vikram kumar and music composed by Anup Rubens. Lachamma received good response after the release.

11. Kamal Hassan

Kamal Hassan has sang for the Vishwaroopam movie introduction song undalendani nanu kanu and music was composed by Shankar Eshan loy.
